Ok it has been a while and a lot has happened...
Here's what I'm up to right now.
I bought myself a really nice film camera it has a great lens and I am currently breezing by my first roll. I am about to develop it using a home made recipe "Caffenol" and I hope to get decent results.
It has been a little hard to find some time to get the ingredients but right now I am determined to do it, so I will see it it all goes well, step 2 will be to get my hands on a flat bed scanner with a feature to let me scan my negative films.
My developing tank requires 335cc to develop 1 roll of 35mm film.
For the fixer, I prepare 50ml AGFA - AGEFIX and 350 ml water.
For cafenol I will use the a modification in the recipe found in http://www.caffenol.org/2010/10/19/caffeafine-using-caffenol-c-as-2-step-developer/
Using 355 ml water with 10 tsp of regular coffee (Folger's)
145 ml water mixed with 6 tsp of washing soda and 3 tsp of Vitamin C.
The outcome was really interesting... the images can be seen buy you can see fog on the film and the film itself is properly exposed but dark when developed, I will try to add more Sodium Carbonate and see what the result is.
